Hoboken Dance Academy Summer session’s

Welcome to the Hoboken Dance Academy. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive dance education to Hoboken and the surrounding communities. Our summer program is designed to let the dancer’s experience a myriad of dance forms. We offer classes for dancer’s age 2 through adult. Please join us for a fun summer filled with dance!


All Classes Meet Once A Week

Tuesday

11:00-1:00PM - 3-4 year olds (ballet, tap, and jazz)

1:00-3:00PM - 5-8 year olds (ballet, tap, jazz, and modern)


Wednesday

9:00-10:00 Ballet - ages 9 and up

10:00-11:00 Modern – ages 9 and up

12:00-1:00 Jazz –ages 9 and up

1:00-2:00 Tap – ages 9 and up

2:15-3:15 Musical Theater – ages 9 and up



Thursday-

Creative movement 2-3 year olds 10:00-10:45AM

Thursday

Session E- July 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 - Price: $70.00

Session F- August 7, 14, 21, and 28 - Price: $56.00

We have classes available for children ages 2 and up. Our schedule is as follows:

5:00-6:00 Musical Theater: ages 5 and up, dance and singing
6:00-7:00 Teen Jazz

3:00-4:00 Pre-tap: ages 5 and up
4:00-5:00 Pre-ballet:ages 5 and up
5:00-6:00 Beginner ballet:ages 6 and up
6:00-7:00 Intermediate ballet

Wednesday

April Adult Ballet

Classes will begin on Tuesday April 8th and runs through May 20. Note there is no class April 22. The cost for our 6 week session is $108.00. Beginner/Intermediate ballet is being offered from 7:00-8:30 PM. Our ballet instructor is Ms. Nancy Cole. Nancy is a graduate of Joffrey/New School Program receiving her BFA in ballet performance. She has danced with the Tucson Ballet, Staten Island Ballet, and The Victoria Theater Ballet. Advanced registration is required and classes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. HDA Celebrates their First Anniversary!

Hoboken Dance Academy is proud to be celebrating it's first anniversary. We would like to thank all of our Hoboken and Hudson County families for making this possible and allowing us to be a part of your children's lives!

February Adult Jazz and Tap

Our next 6 week session begins Saturday March 1st and runs through April 5th. The cost for our 6 week session is $102.00. Tap will be offered from 1:30-2:30 and jazz from 2:30-3:30 PM.

Maia Evwaraye-Griffin will be teaching the adult jazz and tap classes. Maia received her BFA in dance from SUNY Buffalo. She has just finished her US first national tour with Molly Ringwald in Sweet Charity. Maia has also been in The Radio City Christmas Show, Aida, and Little Shop of Horrors. She is also a member of Equity and AGVA.
